Shutdown Host

After connecting to vCenter an easy way assuming there’s no VM running there :

1. Put them in Maint. Mode:

foreach ($H in (Get-VMHost | ? {$_.powerstate -eq “PoweredOn”})) {set-vmhost -vmhost $H -state Maintenance }

2. Shut them down.

foreach ($H in (Get-VMHost | ? {$_.powerstate -eq “PoweredOn”})) {Stop-VMHost -vmhost $H }
